Anyone come across this error message?

HL crashes everytime I join a game.
Deleted the contents of autoexe.cfg & it's ok but I loose all my settings.

I've had problems with autoexec.cfg too and have to delete. Never could find the root of the problem.

My advice is adding ur scripts back in one by one to see which ones doing it. Also remember your name changes. Some characters may be more prone to cause crashing.

Reinstall is always a good idea too. Good luck. I've never seen that exact message before.

Did reinstall h/l but as soon as I copied my autoexe in there same problem.

I'll try an add scripts in 1 at a time & see what happens.

Google said "Memory allocation failure"
