I'd support adding a bot as long as you can easily make him disappear and he doesn't count for frags...

Still, I think that would be a move away from the kind of matches I prefer, which is of course deathmatches with fourteen real people...

Also, we seemed to drive more traffic to the server just by running HLTV on there as "visit www.vulgar-newbies.com" (at least that's what it would say now). I liked that when we used it...

Suposibly we are and we have AMX mod X installed too but I really don't see any signs of it. It might work, I really have no clue and seeing as how BuM hasn't been on for awhile, I haven't been able to ask him.

VulgarNewbies.com is HLTV, and we need a dedicated client for that. That can be a windows or linux box, and can be hosted here or miles away. It can consume bandwidth in the event we want to use it for recording, so that should be taken into account.

Bots can be removed upon traffic generation. I need to find out through YD from bum if 2.3.0 supports metamod, and how to set it up, and we'll need someone incharge of managing the settings...

For starters, get the hldsupdatetool:
